What is your reason for taking photos?

Its been a while since I last posted, since October 2013. I had my entire family all fly into the Gold Coast to spend Christmas and New Years with my family and I, it was such a great quality time spent. During that time my camera was shooting non-stop. I just adore my nieces and nephews, who have all become very familiar and comfortable with the camera. I think they thoroughly enjoy it actually. Most children do tend to shy away from the camera, but overtime they eventually take to it like chocolate.

Having my family here was a great opportunity to create memories of happy times. The best parts were dining out, hitting the beach, visiting the theme parks and even the library for chilled out reading time. We did so much and couldn't get enough of it. We spent our final week at Mount Tamborine with my younger brother and his family and what a great view of the Gold Coast from his gigantic Queenslander balcony. It is truly a sight to see.

By the end of the holiday period it was time to say farewell. I was okay with it because I had spent quality time with each of my family members and most importantly, I had my photos to look at if I began to miss them. I never say Goodbye, it sounds like the end of everything. I rather like to say Farewell, till we meet again.

Creating memories is my reason for taking photos!
